Driven by Sodexo’s global commitment to the Stop Hunger movement, Sodexo Indonesia successfully hosted Servathon 2026, its annual flagship volunteering initiative dedicated to making a meaningful difference in local communities.
Bringing together Sodexo employees, corporate clients, vendor partners, and sponsors, Servathon 2026 united everyone around one shared purpose: giving back and creating positive, lasting impact. Through the collective power of volunteering, culinary expertise, and community support, the initiative demonstrated how small acts of kindness can come together to create meaningful change.
Empowering Communities Through Learning and Engagement
Servathon 2026 went beyond food distribution. The initiative also focused on community empowerment through practical knowledge, culinary education, and interactive activities designed to inspire healthier and more sustainable everyday habits.
Key activities included:
- Nutritional Awareness & Food Education: Interactive sessions introduced participants to the fundamentals of balanced nutrition, healthy eating, and building better long-term eating habits.
- Chef-Led Cooking Demonstrations: Sodexo chefs shared practical cooking techniques and demonstrated how to prepare nutritious and budget-friendly meals using accessible ingredients.
- Food Plating Competition: Encouraged participants to explore their creativity through food presentation. The activity brought together culinary skills, imagination, and teamwork in a fun and engaging competition.
- Chef-Led Activities for Children: Young participants took part in interactive culinary activities and live cooking demonstrations specially designed for children, guided by professional Sodexo chefs.
- Kitchen Equipment Support: As part of its ongoing support for partner institutions, Sodexo also donated essential kitchen equipment, utensils, and cutlery to help strengthen their food preparation capabilities.
