Sodexo Indonesia Honors Employee Innovation at 2025 Competition Awards

Sodexo Innovation Competition Awards

Innovation Competition

Sodexo Indonesia recently celebrated the ingenuity and practical problem-solving of its employees at the Sodexo Innovation Competition Awards 2025, held at the Sodexo Academy. This annual event spotlighted breakthrough ideas and solutions developed by employees across various departments and sites, embodying Sodexo's core value: the Spirit of Progress.

The competition, structured into Individual and Group segments, underscored that impactful innovation often arises from those closest to daily operational challenges, not always from complex technology.

All submitted ideas underwent a rigorous evaluation by internal judges, assessed on originality, feasibility, and operational impact. Finalists presented their projects in dedicated sessions before the awards ceremony, allowing judges to fully appreciate each submission's potential. Proposals aimed at enhancing service quality, streamlining operations, and improving everyday processes were all welcomed.

This year, two exceptional innovations were crowned as top projects, one from each segment.

Individual Segment Winner: Streamlining Finance with Automation

Rahmi Winner

Rahmi Indra Putri, a Finance Performance Officer at the Head Office, secured the top prize in the Individual Category for her innovation: “Automatic Merge File PDF – Invoice.” This clever automation solution simplifies the process of combining multiple invoice files into a single PDF, significantly reducing manual work, saving time, and improving finance document handling.

"This came from my daily routine—it’s a small change with a big impact. I’m honored that it’s been recognized,” said Rahmi.

Group Segment Winner: Enhancing Canteen Efficiency with Digital Display

Adi Winner

The Group Category Winner was awarded to Adi Rismanto & Team for their innovation: “Efektivitas Informasi Aktual Porsi Makanan di Kantin Melalui TV Display.” This practical digital display system provides up-to-date meal portion information in workplace canteens, leading to enhanced efficiency, clarity, and a better overall customer experience.

"Sometimes, the most effective solutions are the simplest. This project was about improving service for everyone," Adi explained.

Competition

What made this year's competition particularly meaningful was its strong focus on ideas rooted in real-world experience. Every submission was directly inspired by day-to-day work, reflecting the invaluable operational knowledge and ownership of those on the frontline.

Sodexo Indonesia extended its gratitude to all participants, judges, and site teams. Every idea shared reflects the remarkable talent and initiative of Sodexo’s workforce. Whether a project was selected as a winner or not, each contribution plays a vital role in fostering a more agile, thoughtful, and people-driven organization.

The Sodexo Innovation Competition Awards 2025 may have concluded, but the spirit of continuous improvement it champions continues to thrive. Sodexo encourages everyone to keep listening, creating, and leading positive change—together.
